Support the establishment of the Argonne-part of self-driving laboratory, specifically focusing on the image-guided robotic control.

Assist with lab setup of instruments, scripts, and robotic arm.

Collaborating with Argonne research team.

Education and Experience Requirements

Background in data science, material science, or related field.

Software development skills in Python.

Experience with laboratory automation, hardware-software interfacing.

• The entirety of the appointment must be conducted within the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins.
• Applicants must be:
o Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited
institution.
o Graduated from an accredited institution within the past 3 months; or
o Actively enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited institution
