Job Description - Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center

CMA externship position. Practice specialty: Variety- family practice, adult medicine, women's health, pediatrics, behavior health, specialty, walk-in, etc. Office hours of operation: Monday- Friday 8 am- 4:30 pm.

Work with medical staff to practice competencies for externship completion."Job duties: Checking in patients. Doing vital signs. Using EMR. Doing lab test such as pregnancy test, UA, flu, Covid, etc. Administering vaccines and immunizations. Setting patients up in exam rooms for pap smears, STD, Nexplanons, etc. Phlebotomy blood draws. Autoclave speculums and instruments. Assisting MD with patients in exam rooms."

Requirements

Both the covid vaccine and booster are required.
