Provide academic support to nursing students through tutoring, study strategies, and guidance on coursework success. Ideal for high-achieving students with strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities and Career Competencies:

1. Provide academic support to nursing students, assisting them with understanding nursing concepts and applications – C, P, CT, L


2. Maintain confidentiality, be punctual, communicate changes in work schedule in advance – P


3. Conduct small-group tutoring sessions to facilitate collaborative learning among nursing students – TW, CT, CTR, L


4. Guide students in developing effective study habits, time management skills, and offer strategies for test preparation and academic success in nursing coursework – C, TW, P, CT, L

Preferred Skills: Computer knowledge and online student software (Canvas, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, social media & new technology), attention to detail, strong active listening abilities, student focused, willingness to learn new things, proven outstanding written and verbal communication.

Work Schedule: Varies depending on workload; average of 10 hours per week. Occasional nights or weekends required.

Work Conditions: Normal office working environment; computer time included in daily hours.

Physical Demands: Normal office activities.

Pay Rate: $10.50/hour
