The Liberty County Board of Commissioners actively invites and encourages all students in grades 9th - 11th to apply for a position with the Liberty County Youth Commission (LCYC). LCYC is a leadership and service program that empowers young people to become knowledgeable, involved, and effective advocates for children and youth issues in their communities. The program runs from August through March and is coordinated through the Administration Department. This year, we are accepting up to 25 leaders.
