Accommodations Crew Member

Vision for the Role: The part-time year-round Accommodations crew member plays a vital role in ensuring Hume SoCal's high standards for cleanliness, order, and guest care are met. This role upholds the mission of Hume by providing welcoming and clean accommodations (indoor and outdoor) for guests and staff alike.

The Role:

• Preparation and cleaning of guest rooms and restrooms
• Cleaning and setting up of chapels, dining rooms, and meeting rooms
• Laundry
• Stocking of supplies and guest items throughout the various facilities
• Snow removal
• Sweeping and raking
• Meeting the spiritual needs of our guests and staff as needed
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Evidenced commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel with others.
• Must agree with Hume Lake’s Statement of Belief and be willing to abide by Hume Lake’s Code of Conduct.
• Must be able to live in Hume housing or provide private accommodations conducive to guests and conference needs.
• Physical Requirements: This position must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions of the job.

Salary: Hourly, $16/hour
