Accounting Clerk (Part-Time)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting team.

As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for verifying daily deposits, maintaining accurate cash records, preparing consolidated bank deposits, and monitoring cash transactions throughout the property. This role plays an important part in maintaining financial accuracy and accountability by identifying discrepancies, conducting cashier audits, managing change orders, and supporting the Accounting Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify & Secure Deposits: Work with Security to verify deposits listed on the drop sheet, confirm their accuracy, and ensure they are securely stored in the drop safe.


• Prepare Bank Deposits: Open and verify deposits, cross-check documentation, and prepare consolidated deposits according to bank requirements.


• Monitor Cash Accuracy: Prepare and distribute over and short reports to managers and identify any discrepancies in cash transactions.


• Maintain Cash Controls: Conduct monthly cashier audits on all house banks and remain prepared for safe audits at any time.


• Manage Change & Support: Place and track weekly change orders, ensure timely repayment, and assist the Accounting Department as needed.
