Aerobics Instructor

Location: United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, CO

Position: Part-time

Duties:

• Conduct aerobics classes according to the scheduled days and times.
• Ensure proper use and functionality of aerobics room and equipment.
• Provide music for aerobics classes.
• Ensure room safety by keeping doors closed during class and monitoring participant sign-ins.
• Arrive 5-10 minutes before class start time to set up equipment and ensure class begins on time.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Conduct various types of Aerobics classes as required, including:

1. Low Impact
2. Intermediate
3. High Impact
4. Step Aerobics
5. Sports Conditioning
6. Yoga
7. Pilates

Requirements:

• The instructor must have and maintain a primary instructor certification.
• Additional specialized training and certifications for specialized classes such as step and kickboxing fitness are preferred.
• Current first aid, AED and/or CPR certification.
• Active Personal Trainer certificate.
• Active certification of TRX Suspension Training Course Live Virtual Edition.
