Carpenter

Job location : (CAVHCS), Montgomery, Alabama.

Schedule : 9 to 5,Monday to Friday .

Qualifications :

• have at least 3 years documented experience.
• Be able to perform heavy work, lifting of 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Capacity of working in confined, high ,noisy, hot, and hazardous spaces.
• Ability to function safely while wearing a respirator.

Duties :

• Measures, cuts, constructs, or repairs wood or wood substitute items such as scaffolding, staging parts, panels, bin pallets, concrete forms, dry walls, and rook decking.
• Measures, cuts, constructs, installs, repairs, and modifies building components such as rafters, walls, staircases, windows, and frames, trim work, and cabinets.
• Independently plans and completes projects that involve constructing, altering, repairing, and/or modifying framework, rafters, doors, finished paneling, windows, interior/exterior trim, staircases, trusses, and beams.
• Plans, measures and lay out carpentry materials using broad knowledge of wood materials and substitutes with general and precision woodworking techniques.
• Knowledge of metal framing for walls and drop ceiling .
• Concrete and Masonry skills.
• Projects involve constructing, altering, repairing, and/or modifying framework, rafters, doors, finished paneling, windows, interior/ exterior trim, staircases, trusses and beams.
