Catholic Religious Education Director

Location: United States Air Force Academy, CO
Position: Part-time

Duties:

• Develop, coordinate, and evaluate Catholic religious education programs for the academy community, including children’s religious education and sacramental preparation.
• Work with the Catholic Chaplain, chapel staff, and lay ministers to organize programs such as Sunday school, first communion, confirmation, and Vacation Bible School.
• Oversee the program's administrative needs, including budgeting, registrations, curriculum planning, and volunteer coordination.

Requirements:

• Certified Catechist with the Archdiocese for Military Services (AMS) and a letter of good standing from an officiating Catholic priest.
• Ability to manage educational programs and work collaboratively in a diverse, faith-based setting.
• Experience leading Catholic religious education, including sacramental preparation and children's ministries.
