Catholic Youth Ministry Coordinator

Location: United States Air Force Academy, CO
Position: Part-time

Duties:

• Plan and lead a comprehensive youth ministry program for high school and college-aged participants, providing faith-based activities, retreats, and community events.
• Collaborate with the Catholic Chaplain and chapel staff to create a schedule of engaging youth activities, including regular meetings, retreats, and mission trips.
• Oversee volunteer recruitment, training, and coordination to support youth ministry initiatives.

Requirements:

• Recognized by the Archdiocese for Military Services (AMS) for leading Catholic youth programs, with a letter of good standing from an officiating Catholic priest.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to foster a welcoming environment and coordinate effectively with staff and volunteers.
• Experience in youth ministry and the ability to engage and mentor young people in their faith journey.
