Certified K-8 Teaching Substitute

MRA is seeking reliable, caring, and adaptable K-8 Substitute Teachers to join our team. Substitutes play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of learning when classroom teachers are absent. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with students, can maintain a positive and structured classroom environment, and are committed to supporting our school’s mission and expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Follow the teacher’s lesson plans to provide instruction and supervision


• Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment


• Communicate effectively with students and staff


• Uphold school policies, routines, and expectations


• Report any concerns or incidents to school administration

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher and TSPC Substitute License


• Experience working with children or in educational settings 


• Dependability, professionalism, and strong communication skills


• Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt as needed


• Must pass required background checks
