THE JOB:

As a Bartender at our Chandler Steakhouse Restaurant, you will use your mastery in bartending to create delightful experiences for our patrons. With your knowledge of cocktails, liquor brands, and exceptional service, you’ll set the stage for moments guests will cherish. If you have at least two (2) years of bartending experience and a passion for hospitality, we want to hear from you!

THE STARTING RATE:  $9.50 per hour plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standardized recipes.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, ensuring all equipment and tools are in good working order.

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections.

• Handle cash transactions, including ringing beverages, collecting payments, and preparing daily reports.

• Train and mentor Apprentice Bartenders and Bar Porters on bar operations and guest service.

• Maintain inventory levels in accordance with set pars and internal controls, and request products as needed.

• Address guest complaints within your authority and report any unusual circumstances to management.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Two (2) years of experience in a bar experience in a similar environment is preferred

• Willing and able to work Part-time, variable shifts, to include weekends and holidays to accommodate business needs. Hours of Operations include: Tuesday-Thursday 3:30pm-10:30pm and Friday-Saturday 3:30pm-11:30pm

• Knowledgeable of menu items, including mixture and serving beverages, standard beverage recipes, preparation methods, glassware, garnishes, products, menu items, supplies and equipment

• Highly motivated and energetic personality

Pay Rate

The rate for this role is:

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
