Climbing Coach

Reach Climbing and Fitness is a premier indoor climbing and training facility dedicated to building a strong, supportive, and inspiring community. We believe in helping climbers of all ages and abilities push limits, build confidence, and find joy in movement.

Position Overview:
We’re looking for passionate, knowledgeable, and energetic Climbing Coaches to join our team. As a coach, you’ll lead youth and/or adult classes, help climbers improve their technique and strength, and foster a positive and inclusive environment. From introducing beginners to the sport to guiding competitive athletes toward their goals, you’ll play a key role in shaping our next generation of climbers.

Responsibilities:

• Coach youth and/or adult climbing classes and team sessions


• Provide instruction on climbing technique, movement, and safety


• Encourage personal growth and confidence through supportive coaching


• Help create a fun, motivating, and inclusive atmosphere


• Collaborate with other staff and coaches to ensure consistency and quality in programming


• Assist with competitions, community events, and gym initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of climbing technique, movement, and safety practices


• Previous coaching, teaching, or mentoring experience preferred


• Excellent communication and leadership skills


• Positive, patient, and team-oriented attitude


• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
