Clinical Services Assistant (part-time)

Part-time: Monday - Friday 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM (20 hours/week)

Pay Range: $18.45/hour - $24.07/hour

The primary responsibilities of the Clinical Services Assistant are to have a presence in the 

Clinic and to respond to resident needs and/or emergencies within the building and independent living residences on campus.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Active RMA
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to process information accurately, make appropriate decisions and take appropriate action based upon the information available.
• CPR and First Aid certified or ability to attain. 
• Current Virginia driver’s license and meets driver eligibility requirements per Sunnyside policy HR069.
• Ability to work with confidential information and maintain its’ integrity.
• Ability to deal with medical and other emergencies while remaining calm.
• Strong customer service skills; maintain a hospitality approach when engaging all individuals.   

• Respond to a wide variety of emergencies; follow protocol and remain calm and professional.
• Answer calls to the Clinic and assist with day to day operations, including scheduling as needed. 
• Complete wellness visits to IL residents as needed. 
• Check first aid boxes and AED monthly. Keep first aid boxes up to date in all areas.
• Perform clerical duties with accuracy and ensure completion by due date.
• Ability to access and navigate PCC for documentation on residents.
• Provide floor coverage as a CNA or RMA, as needed.
• Assist with physician clinics as needed.
• Ensuring wellness consents goes to the appropriate personnel. 
• Other duties as assigned.
