Construction Safety Manager Part-Time

Job Details:

• Job Type: Part-Time (20–40 hours/week)
• Pay Rate: $35 – $38 per hour
• Annualized Salary Range: $72,000 – $80,000
• Work Location: On-site (Construction Job Sites)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager (Part-Time) to oversee and improve safety performance across active construction sites. This role is responsible for ensuring OSHA compliance, hazard prevention, risk management, and EHS program execution in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in construction safety management, OSHA regulations, inspections, incident investigations, and safety training. You will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture and reducing jobsite risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce OSHA, DOT, and site-specific safety regulations across construction projects
• Conduct regular site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive safety measures
• Lead incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and root cause analysis
• Maintain OSHA logs, safety documentation, certifications, and compliance records
• Develop and deliver safety training and toolbox talks for field teams
• Support workers' compensation cases and EHS reporting requirements
• Collaborate with project managers to implement site safety plans

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of construction safety or EHS experience OR Bachelor's in EHS or related field
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and compliance requirements
• Experience with safety audits, incident investigations, and documentation control
• Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple job sites
