A DAY IN THE LIFE

Enthalpy Analytical, is part of the larger organization, Montrose Environmental Group, is comprised of over 9 laboratories servicing air, water, and soil testing.  Regulations drive the need for our services, but our unique capabilities allow us to add value to clients beyond environmental compliance. 

We’re hiring a Part-Time Interstate Courier based in the Bakersfield, CA area.

Compensation: $24 - $28, DOE

Primary Schedule: Fridays, approximately 8:00 PM–6:30 AM (10 hour shift with 30 minute lunch)

Additional Hours:

• Up to 20 hours per week as needed to cover vacation, sick days, or operational gaps
• These additional hours may be scheduled in advance or on-call
• Potential coverage will be weekday evenings, depending on route coverage needs.

As a key member of the laboratory team, you’ll receive assignments, collect samples from Northern California locations, and transport them safely to a Central California hand-off point. Professionalism, punctuality, and driving experience are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

• Meet NorCal courier daily at a meeting point in Pleasant Valley/Coalinga area

• Deliver and unload samples at our laboratory in Orange, CA

• Ensure safe, damage-free delivery

• Maintain logs, follow routes, keep company vehicle clean and safe

• Comply with safety and telematics policies

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Professional full-time driving experience preferred

• Pass background check and drug screening

• Lift up to 50 lbs; remain seated for long periods
