District Stadium Manager
Job Description:
Manage all operations for one or more district stadiums. Oversee event coordination and facility/grounds maintenance. Provide staff supervision and scheduling for assistant managers and game workers. Provide maintenance and operation of score board and sound system. Provide leadership, effective problem-solving and crisis management, as needed. Develop and promote good community relations among various school and community clientele.
Responsibilities may vary at different stadiums/facilities.
ESSENTIAL ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
Work is generally performed in a typical school sports stadium environment with standard equipment, lighting, and noise levels. Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures. Noise levels will increase during events and activities (crowds, band, announcements).
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
● Regular travel within school district boundaries and facilities
● Occasional lifting of up to seventy-five (75) pounds
● Frequent standing, walking, and climbing up and down stairs
● Moderate sitting, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and pulling
● Frequent use of hands, keyboarding, with stadium equipment and use of hand tools
● Vision, auditory, and mental acuity within normal ranges
Position Specific Information (if Applicable):
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, schedule and oversee stadium, game, and ticket staff.
- Notify the Athletics Office of the submission of needed work orders.
- Perform crisis management, call for emergency services and assist emergency personnel, as needed.
- Manage setup activities related to all school events planned for stadium use.
- Regularly inspect facilities, grounds, turf/fields, and equipment to ascertain repair and maintenance needs. Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards are met. Provide snow and ice removal, as necessary.
- Maintain a working knowledge of facility operations including electrical, HVAC systems and grounds maintenance equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Certifications:
CO Drivers License - State of CO
Education:
Bachelor's Degree, High School or Equivalent (Required)
