Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Locations: Tecumseh, Raisin, Irish Hills, and Adrian, MI (Lenawee Community Ambulance)

Shift: 12-hour shifts, 18-hour shift, & 24-hour shifts

In This Role You Will:

• Deliver Exceptional Care: Maintain high clinical standards while providing basic life support, including CPR, airway management, oxygen application, bleeding control, and splinting.


• Ensure Safe Transport: Safely operate ambulances and manage patient handling, including proficient stretcher operations, lifting, and loading.


• Provide Compassionate Service: Treat patients, family members, and facility staff with the utmost respect, providing both emergency and convalescent care.


• Collaborate Professionally: Work under hospital-approved medical protocols and cooperate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare partners and co-workers.

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Current State of Michigan EMT License.


• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.


• Certifications: Valid BLS CPR certification.


• Driving Record: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.


• Physical Ability: Physically capable of lifting and moving patients and carrying heavy medical equipment.


• Vetting: Ability to pass a company-sponsored background check, drug screen, and physical.


• Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Certifications: PHTLS or ITLS certification (Note: PHTLS training can be provided upon hire).


• Other Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress environments.
