Position Overview:
Serves as a consultant on the development and implementation of strategies by establishing overarching objectives, and ensuring the necessary staffing and resources will provide leadership and facilitation in the resolution of highly strategic and sensitive issues or projects of Sutter Health. Has oversight and management of projects. Able to conceptualize, develop, and drive high-level strategic initiatives, and has hands-on and achieve the final results expected.
Sutter Medical Foundation (SMF) is a not-for-profit organization supporting the quality medical services provided by Sutter Medical Group and Sutter North Medical Group and a clinically integrated network (Sutter Physicians Alliance, also known as SPA), which includes Sutter Independent Physicians.
Serving the counties of Amador, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Solano, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba, physicians are dedicated to delivering exceptional care and services, listening to patients’ needs and ensuring that patients play an important role in their health care.

Job Description:
DEPARTMENT REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Master's: (MBA), Hospital Administration (MHA), Public Health (MPH) or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 8 years recent relevant experience.
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Advanced computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Vision, and knowledge of data systems.
- Effective communication, consulting, interpersonal, presentation, and project management skills.
- Established experience exhibits the coalescence of excellent risk identification and analysis skills with an in-depth knowledge of industry trends to support the development of an agile enterprise.
- Previous experience in a large, multi-specialty provider group or matrix managed health system is preferred.
- Superior negotiating and problem-solving skills with the proven ability to research, investigate and analyze issues to offer effective solutions.
- Demonstrated skill in establishing, building and maintaining effective working relationships with executives and other key stakeholders.
- Excellent and engaging communication/presentation skills with the ability to succinctly explain the relationship between corporate strategies, business drivers and the desired end state in lay terms to diverse audiences (executive, physician, employee, and external), including packaging in vehicles such as PowerPoint.

Pay Range is $138,881.60 to $208,332.80 / annual salary
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
