Front Desk Associate and Night Auditor Full and part time

General responsibilities

• Check guests into and out of hotel in an accurate, efficient and courteous manner


• Efficiently and accurately handles all payments received at the property.  this may be in the form of cash, credit card, etc


• Provide guests with appropriate room assignments, room keys, directions to rooms and general information regarding the hotel, its amenities and the surrounding area and its businesses.


• Assist guests with issues and complaints, with empathy and a focus on guest satisfaction


• Answer incoming calls within 3 rings with the appropriate greeting.


• Greet guests warmly and perform registration procedures


• Post all charges to guest accounts in an accurate and timely manner.  Upon checkout ensure that all charges and collect payment.


• Sell and confirm room reservations using selling techniques and strategies

Education Requirements:  High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• Previous front desk experience is a plus


• Excellent written and oral skills required


• Positive interpersonal skills required


• Excellent computer and typing skills required.  Excel and Word proficiency is desired

This is an hourly position based on experience.
