General Application - Instrumental and Classroom Music Teachers

Northeastern Music Programs, a PA-based company owned by Menchey Music Service, provides instrumental and classroom music programs to private and parochial schools, grades PreK-8, in the Greater Philadelphia Region.

We are seeking passionate and dynamic music teachers for full-time and part-time teaching positions in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Positions in classroom general music (K-8) and instrumental music (3-8) are available.

Responsibilities include:
General Music Positions:

• Weekly general music classes to K-8 students

Instrumental Music Positions:

• Weekly small group lessons on band/string instruments
• 2 performances each year (holiday and spring)
• Administrative duties inherent to an instrumental music teaching position

All positions require regular communication with teaching staff, administrators, and parents.

Salary
Determined by credentials, days of service, and experience. Opportunities for additional compensation and performance bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Music Education or a music-related field.
• Teaching Certification
• Proof of the acquisition and maintenance of all required clearances.
