Job Title: Gospel Service Music Director
Job Type: Part Time – 2 Services per week (Reherasal and Sunday Service)
Place and Time of Performance: Keesler AFB, Triangle Chapel at 12:30PM.
Requirements:

Experience directing gospel styles of worship and music services for a Protestant church/chapel.
Have an active membership/attendance at a Protestant church/chapel with a letter of endorsement from their current pastor/chaplain.
Have the ability to read and direct four-part choral music and congregational hymns.

Duties:

Develop, coordinate, and implement a comprehensive program of music for the Gospel Service with the approval of the Senior Faith Group Leader or Chapel Staff.
Develop a music order for each worship service.
Provide worship slides/display for the music selections as needed.
Interview, recruit, and train prospective volunteers, non-prior service (NPS) students, active duty/reserve military, retirees, and their dependents, to participate in the music program.
Lead the choir and worship band in a Christian Bible-based devotional and prayer prior to each rehearsal and worship service.
Submit requests for purchase of resources/materials needed to perform duties to the Senior Faith Group Chaplain as required for purchase of resources/materials needed to perform duties.
