Housekeeper-Part Time Seasonal

Maintain cleanliness of all Club areas promoting sanitary conditions.

Requirements

Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities)

1. Cleans restrooms, restocks restroom supplies in multiple buildings
2. Must handle cleaning solvents and must comply with safety regulations. Uses protective gear when necessary as required by OSHA, EPA and State Health Department.
3. Dusts rooms and furniture
4. Vacuums carpets and mops floors throughout the club including dining areas.
5. Sweeps deck area and dusts deck furniture
6. Empties all waste baskets and ashtrays
7. Buffs floors
8. Disinfects phones
9. Cleans and polishes brass
10. Shampoos carpets
11. Reports any damage, burned-out light bulbs and plumbing problems to the maintenance director or general manager.
12. Takes trash to dumpster
13. Polishes glass, table surfaces, counters, shelves, desks, office equipment and door handles.
14. Moves furniture as needed and assists with banquet setup
15. Cleans walls throughout clubhouse as necessary.
16. Cleans windows regularly including windows on doors.
17. Maintains outside of clubhouse building. (Cleans walkways, decks and entrances)
18. Conducts deep-cleaning projects.
19. Assists with set up of tables, chairs and other furniture needed for special events.

20. Cleans stairwells and landings, dusts ceiling light fixtures, does spot cleaning as necessary; checks drapes for needed repairs and missing hooks.

21. Transports linen to and from the linen or laundry room.

22. Completes other appropriate assignments made the General Manager, including set up of large parties and events.

23. Waters plants as needed

V. Physical Requirements

1. Able to stand and walk for long hours, bending, lifting, carry and reaching overhead
2.  Ability to balance and stoop.
3. Occasionally lift and or move up to 40 lbs.
