Position: Indirect Sourcing Specialist
Department: SCD – Procurement
Type of position: Contract, 6-months
Reports to: Global Commodity Manager

JOB SUMMARY:
The Indirect Sourcing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing strategic and tactical procurement activities in alignment with Global Commodity Management. This role plays a critical part in driving supplier innovation, program launches, cost optimization, quality, delivery, and escalation management. This position fosters strong supplier relationships, supports continuous improvement, and contributes to the achievement of overall business goals.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy Execution & Category Support
- Execute sourcing strategies aligned with GCM direction for assigned indirect categories (IT, consulting, benefits, leasing, etc.)
- Support supplier engagement, sourcing initiatives, contract execution, and lifecycle management
- Translate category strategies into actionable sourcing and negotiation plans
- Maintain sourcing tools, ERP data, and supplier records ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Support execution and administration of supplier agreements including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and commercial contracts
Sourcing & Execution
- Lead RFQs, RFPs, and sourcing events for indirect services and contracts
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholder requirements with Legal, Finance, HR, and IT teams
- Conduct supplier benchmarking and market analysis
- Identify sourcing risks and mitigation strategies
Contracting & Continuous Improvement
- Support contract renewals, renegotiations, and supplier transitions
- Identify cost savings and value-creation opportunities across assigned categories
- Assist in implementing procurement best practices and process improvements
- Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and contractual obligations
Program & Stakeholder Support
- Ensure timely execution of sourcing deliverables tied to business needs and project timelines
- Partner with internal stakeholders to clarify scope, specifications, and service expectations
- Escalate risks, delays, or supplier performance issues as needed
Cost & Financial Management
- Support pricing negotiations and cost-reduction initiatives
- Track spend, pricing changes, and budget alignment
- Ensure pricing accuracy within procurement and ERP systems
Supplier Management
- Maintain supplier relationships and performance tracking
- Support supplier onboarding and compliance documentation
- Communicate risks, opportunities, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of sourcing or procurement experience, preferably within indirect categories
- Experience managing service-based contracts and supplier negotiations
- Familiarity with contract terms, statements of work, and commercial agreements
- Experience operating within cross-functional or matrixed organizations
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems, sourcing platforms, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Limited travel; occasional domestic travel may be required based on business needs
