Intramural referee

TITLE: LGRAC Intramural Referee

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Referees will be expected to referee intramural or club games, keeping players safe and the games under control. This position also requires referees to act professionally and to serve as role models for the participants. Referees are required to wear referee jerseys when working a game. This position also requires that referees communicate with captains/coaches to ensure games start in a timely manner. All employees of Babson College including referees are expected to uphold the core values of the college.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- must have be very familiar with the rules and regulations of the intramural game being played. Games could include soccer, basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, flag football, softball, wiffle ball etc. Upon applying, please indicate which games you are most experienced with.

- must be able to communicate with Coaches to get games started promptly.

- must be able to run for extended amounts of time.

- must be able to communicate schedule conflicts with supervisor.

- must be able to remain calm in a stressful competitive atmosphere.
