KO718 - Part-Time Or Full-Time Housekeeper - Chelsea, NYC

A private and busy family in downtown New York is searching for a full-time or part-time housekeeper to help maintain two historic brownstone residences. These are meticulously maintained homes with significant fine-art collections, so they are seeking a candidate who understands the level of care such an environment demands. The family is open to the following options:

Option A: 3 days per week at the residences, compensated at an hourly rate.

Option B: 5 days per week, with 3 days at the residences and 2 days supporting the family gallery. This full-time position comes with an excellent benefits package.

• Daily core tasks across both homes: tidying living areas, making beds, kitchen resets, basic laundry, plant care, and communication with the owners
• A dedicated laundry and bedroom day: changing bed linens, refreshing towels, full laundry and ironing cycles, and wardrobe organization
• A bathroom and kitchen day: deep cleaning all bathrooms, organizing food cupboards, wiping surfaces, and fridge maintenance
• A full reset day: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, refreshing flowers and plants, preparing both homes to a guest-ready standard, and finalizing all laundry and ironing
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual deep cleaning tasks, including window washing, upholstery care, mattress rotation, and full appliance review

• Discretion, professionalism, and an exceptional eye for detail are non-negotiable.
• Must be able to work closely with a team 

• Extensive experience in formal, high-net-worth households
• Familiarity with fine art, luxury textiles, antiques, and historical architecture
• An impeccable standard of cleaning and household organization across multiple residences
• The highest level of discretion and respect for privacy
• Comfort working within a fully staffed, formal home environment

• Pay starts at $45+ per hour
