Life Enrichment Activities Assistant - Part Time - 430p-7p Shift Weekdays + 8a-430p Shift Every-Othe

Eventide Heartland Care Center in Devils Lake, ND is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to work part time two days a week 430p-7p shift + 8a-430p shift every-other-Saturday & Sunday.

Life Enrichment Activities Assistant assists in the implementation of activity programs that stimulate residents physically, mentally, and socially to increase the quality of their lives. Activities must follow standards determined by state and federal regulations.

Essential Functions

• Establish and implement assigned activity programs.


• Develop a rapport with residents to develop an understanding of their needs and interests.


• Maintain online documentation on each resident’s activities to recognize those who are not meeting the established activity goals. Must report any deviations from plan and any noticeable changes in behavior or condition of residents to the Director of Life Enrichment, nurse in charge, or the Director of Nursing.


• Provide leadership in activities as assigned.


• Makes recommendations to the Director of Life Enrichment for alternative programs and/or changes.


• Promotes positive customer relations.

Ideal Candidate

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred, but not required.

Compensation

At Eventide, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $16.00-17.92 for Life Enrichment Assistants per hour based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
