Locum

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Locum Veterinarian to provide temporary clinical coverage for our practice. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality veterinary care, maintain strong client relationships, and integrate seamlessly with our team during the assigned period.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and medical treatments for companion animals

• Diagnose illnesses and develop treatment plans.

• Perform surgical procedures (e.g., spay/neuter, dentals, soft tissue surgeries) as required.

• Prescribe medications and ensure accurate medical record-keeping.

• Communicate clearly and effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care.

• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow.

• Adhere to clinic protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.

• Provide emergency care as needed (if applicable).

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid veterinary license in [State/Country].

• DEA license (if required).

• Professional liability insurance (if required).

• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills.

• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and electronic medical record systems.
