Job Summary: Ladgov Corporation is looking to hire a Nurse Practitioner to support the Department of Agriculture component at LBJ Job Corps Center, 3170 Wayah Rd, Franklin, NC 28734.

Job Type : Part-time

Hours of Work : A reasonable schedule would be considered providing 5 hours a week of services one (1) or two (2) days a week, M-F, 8am – 5pm.

Duties :

• Promptly review applicant files and conduct an initial medical examination (intake), and a medical treatment plan,
• Record all medical documentation, such as, diagnosis, treatment and management plans, medication, reason of denial into the program (if recommended).
• Provide first aid and CPR, and other care within capabilities.
• Provide management, written diagnoses, and treatment plans as part of a chronic care management plan for students with chronic conditions/disabilities.

• Provide treatment of acute conditions and promotion and maintenance of a family planning program.
• Establish an appropriate specialty medical referral system for students who require special, or emergent, medical care.

Education & Qualifications :

• Have an active, unrestricted license to practice independently in the state where services will be provided.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• At least three years of work experience practicing medical services.

Note : Student populations range from 100 to over 300 enrollments depending on the Center’s On Board Strength (OBS).
