SKILLS: Minimum two to three years experience in an acute care setting required. Prior experience working in a hospitalist setting desirable. Additional Skills: Knowledge of professional medical practice and care to administer and evaluate patient care; knowledge of organizational policies, regulations, and procedures to administer care; knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care; knowledge of common safety hazard and precautions to establish safe work environment; skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques of medicine to provide on-going patient care, skill in maintaining medical records, skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, families, patient care staff, supervising physicians, medical community and referring providers. Ability to react calmly and effectively to emergency situations.
