Upper Valley Medical Center\n\nOccupational Therapist (Part-Time)\n\n * Part-Time: 20 hours per week\n\n\n\n \n\nOccupational Therapist opening for our Outpatient clinic in Piqua. Position will be focused on hand therapy with option to assist with neuro patients as well.\n\n \n\nPosition Summary \n\nThe Occupational Therapist assumes a dynamic leadership role on the interdisciplinary patient care teams. This individual identifies patient care needs, develops a plan of care and goals in collaboration with the patient, provides a wide variety of treatment techniques within the scope of practice, provides education and support to patients/families, and facilitates continuing care planning.\n\nWill participate in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. Responsible for demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.\n\nLicensure/Certification/Registration \n\n * Certified Hand Therapist preferred\n * Current Occupational Therapy license in State of Ohio.\n * Current BLS certification required at the time of hire. \n\n\n\n \n\nKnowledge/Skills \n\n * Able to multi-task with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor. \n * Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to change. \n * Teamwork oriented.
