Neurobehavioral Center for Growth (NBCG) is a dynamic, multidisciplinary medical, behavioral, and mental health practice built on one goal: helping individuals and families get answers through evidence-based, compassionate care.
Our team includes psychologists, therapists, speech-language pathologists, ABA professionals, medical providers, and occupational therapists who work together to support children, adolescents, and families across a wide range of developmental, behavioral, and mental health needs.
We're looking for a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join our growing Logan clinic. This is an opportunity to work with a collaborative team while helping children develop the skills they need to thrive at home, in school, and in their communities. What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for sensory processing, fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, self-care skills, activities of daily living (ADLs), and overall functional performance
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client's strengths, needs, and goals
- Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions focused on sensory processing, self-regulation, motor coordination, daily living skills, and functional independence
- Design and adapt therapeutic activities, exercises, and equipment to support developmental progress and client success
- Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients and families through consistency, professionalism, compassion, and respect for individual sensory and communication needs
- Communicate assessment results, treatment recommendations, and progress clearly with parents and caregivers
- Collaborate closely with psychologists, speech-language pathologists, ABA providers, medical professionals, educators, and other members of the care team
- Facilitate referrals and coordinate care with outside providers and community resources when appropriate
- Complete documentation, treatment notes, evaluations, progress reports, and other required records in a timely manner
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, payer requirements, and professional best practices
- Participate in team meetings, training opportunities, and interdisciplinary case collaboration
What You Bring
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Utah Occupational Therapy license, or eligibility for licensure in Utah
- NBCOT certification, or eligibility to sit for the examination
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification after hire
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
- Experience working with pediatric populations and neurodiverse clients
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum
- Training or experience in sensory integration therapy
- Familiarity with ADHD, developmental delays, executive functioning challenges, and other neurodevelopmental conditions
- Experience using electronic health records (EHRs) and Microsoft Office 365
- Knowledge of educational systems and school-based supports
