PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Will interchange and train in both builder and operator positions of the Clamp Crew.
•Responsible for clamp operation and building/gluing procedures.
•Responsible for inspecting incoming and outgoing product to prevent bad product leaving the clamp area.
•Perform routine quality checks using pin depth gage, calipers and tape measure.
•Responsible for machine set-up and all phases of production throughout the shift.
•Track and record all daily production activity.
•Maintain and troubleshoot machinery so as to meet daily production requirements.
•Maintain high level of quality production by working to tolerance specifications of + ½ millimeters.
•Conduct routine machine maintenance as needed.
•Participate and lead in the instruction/training of new employees.
•Maintain a clean work environment.
•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
•Perform other related duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
•Good overall work record, including a satisfactory attendance record and self-motivation
•Knowledge of safe work practices
•High School diploma or GED preferred
•Ability to read a tape measure
•Math skills
•Ability to read/write
•Ability to operate various tools
•Ability to work in a team environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling
•May be required to frequently lift up to 25 lbs
•Hand dexterity and strength
•Overtime is required, including weekends
•May be required to work a flexible schedule
