Food Service Worker/Delivery driver

Summary of Position:

The Delivery driver/Prep Helper is a crucial role responsible for delivering food and supplies to various local locations while ensuring proper temperature maintenance. This position requires a clean, valid NYS Driver's License. Additionally, the Delivery Agent will assist in receiving and organizing vendor deliveries. Prep Helpers are cross-trained to work in various roles, including Food Prep, Server, and Porter, based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Agent Duties:

· Safely transport food and supplies to designated locations while maintaining proper food temperatures.

· Receive and organize vendor deliveries efficiently.

· Load and unload delivery truck with care and attention to product integrity.

· Knowledge of foodstuffs is essential.

· Must be able to work at a moderate to fast pace.

· Clean, valid NYS Driver's License is required.

· Basic math skills are necessary.

· Good work experience in food service or related fields.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Treat all customers, both internal and external, with courtesy, respect, and exemplary service.

· Communicate professionally and refrain from inappropriate language or comments.

· Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to dress code requirements.

· Demonstrate reliability by being punctual and attending scheduled shifts.

· Prioritize health and safety, complying with regulations and reporting accidents or injuries.

· Maintain a positive attitude and address concerns privately with supervisors.

· Be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
