Overnight Studio Cleaner & Lead

Slate is a commercial cleaning company recognized for its high standards and tech-enabled, quality-controlled services for business clients nationwide. We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Studio Cleaner & Lead to join our Virginia Beach team, ensuring boutique fitness studios are maintained to the highest level.

This part-time role is ideal for individuals who thrive working independently overnight and are comfortable managing cleaning operations and logistics. As part of a two-person team, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of client studios, while also overseeing supply inventory and team coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deep clean boutique fitness studio spaces, including equipment, floors, mirrors, restrooms, lobby, and retail areas
• Take before and after photos at each visit to document results
• Follow a detailed bilingual cleaning checklist to ensure consistent quality
• Clock in and out at each location using a mobile app
• Lead duties: inventory cleaning supplies, place restocking orders, manage cleaner attendance, and coordinate same-night replacement coverage as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency using a smartphone to clock in/out and take before/after photos
• Able to stand, bend, and lift items required for cleaning tasks
• English proficiency sufficient to follow checklists and use mobile app communication
• Authorized to work in the United States
• At least 18 years old
• Available to work overnight starting at 11:00 PM on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday
• Reliable personal vehicle for travel between locations (no mileage reimbursement)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning
• Experience in a lead or supervisory role managing attendance or team coordination
• Familiarity with cleaning boutique fitness studios or reformer-style equipment
• Bilingual English/Spanish

• Competitive hourly pay: $16/hr (Cleaner) or $18/hr (Lead)
• Performance bonuses for high ratings ($20 per 4–5 star rating, streak bonuses up to $200/month, solo coverage bonuses)
• Flexible, part-time overnight schedule (4 nights/week, ~1 hour per shift)
