Part Time After-School Nanny – Brooklyn, NY 

A family in Brooklyn, NY 11216 is seeking a reliable, engaging, and consistent nanny to provide after-school care for their 5-year-old daughter. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and able to help manage school pick-up, transportation to activities, and evening routines while creating a safe and nurturing environment.

Schedule:

• School Year: Monday–Friday, approximately 2:15 PM – 6:15 PM


• Summer Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM beginning August 10, 2026

Family Specifications:

• No pets in the home


• Smoke-free household

Responsibilities:

• Pick up child from school and accompany her to after-school activities


• Supervise and engage in age-appropriate activities


• Assist with dinner and evening routines


• Ensure the child's safety during transportation and outings

Requirements:

• Previous experience taking care of 5 years olds, specifically with dinner and bath time


• Reliable and punctual


• Comfortable navigating public transportation with a child


• Ability to manage school pick-up and activity schedules

• CPR and First Aid certified preferred

Compensation:

• $20-$25 per hour (commensurate with experience); Family open to covering subway transportation costs
