Position Type: Part-Time (In-Center Only)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 3:00 PM–8:30 PM and Saturdays 8:30 AM–3:30 PM
Compensation: $16-20/hour based on experience
About Huntington Learning Center
Founded in 1977 by Dr. Raymond and Eileen Huntington, Huntington Learning Center is the nation’s longest-running provider of supplemental education services. At our Cedar Park/North Austin and Round Rock, TX locations, we provide individualized academic support for K–12 students, including:
- Academic skill building in reading, writing, math, and study skills
- Subject tutoring across a range of grade levels and content areas
- SAT/ACT and standardized test preparation

We’re looking for an organized, welcoming, and dependable Part-Time Assistant Director to support the daily operations of our center. This role is focused on creating a positive experience for families by managing front desk responsibilities, schedules, inquiries, and communication.
You’ll serve as a key point of contact for parents, students, and staff while helping keep the center running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys customer service, organization, and multitasking in a team-oriented setting.
This position does not include teaching responsibilities.
What You’ll Do
Family & Student Support
- Greet students and families and create a welcoming center environment
- Answer phones, respond to texts and emails, and manage walk-in inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service and address questions professionally and efficiently
- Communicate important scheduling updates and center information to families
- Process tuition payments and maintain accurate account information
Scheduling & Administrative Operations
- Manage student and teacher schedules, including adjustments for absences or changes
- Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and internal documentation
- Support daily front desk operations and ensure smooth center flow
- Monitor office inventory and assist with supply management
- Help maintain organization across digital systems and communication platforms
Team & Center Support
- Collaborate closely with the administrative and teaching teams
- Assist with basic operational tasks and ongoing center initiatives
- Support local outreach and community events as needed
- Help maintain a positive, professional, and student-focused environment
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree required
- Availability to work Monday–Thursday evenings and Saturdays
- Prior experience in customer service, administrative support, reception, education, or related fields preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
- Professionalism, warmth, and reliability in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort navigating multiple digital platforms and systems
- Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Outlook, Calendly, payment systems, or similar software is a plus
