Part time Awake Overnight Counselor

East House has full-time Awake Overnight Counselor roles available in the residential support services program. This role would be working in a residential setting with up to 14 adults that are recovering from mental illness or substance dependency. The Awake Overnight Counselor must be skilled at encouraging and coaching clients through their recovery process with compassion and patience because it can sometimes be a slow process. Daily responsibilities for the Awake Overnight Counselor include but are not limited to overnight awake supervision and monitoring for safety and security, management of client medications, maintaining client safety, cleaning house and providing clerical support for other staff, and maintaining documentation standards. This role starts at $15.45 per hour plus an overnight differential.

This is a non-exempt position starting at $19.00 per hour plus an overnight differential.

Awake Overnight Counselor Requirements: The Awake Overnight Counselor position at East House requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with some paid human service experience. Motor Vehicle license and safe driving record.
