Main responsibilities
Follow and promote proper Pharmacy, general safety, and security procedures and processes of the company.
Use scanning and counting technologies to identify and select appropriate pharmaceutical products and quantities for filling prescription orders.
Ensuring medication counting devices are continuously replenished.
Assist with maintaining the pharmacy system and technologies that facilitate proper counting, conveyance, packaging, and shipping of prescriptions.
Monitoring inventory and supply levels at the responsible stations, calibrating machines, general troubleshooting (jams, blockages) within conveyance, counting, and packaging machines, escalating technical issues, and working as a team to reach team goals.
Monitoring and maintaining uptime of automated counting, collating, packaging, and sorting devices, ensuring continuous operation through basic troubleshooting of routine errors.
Create and maintain documentation as requested.
Manually fill prescriptions as needed.
Verify attributes of the product such as: size, strength, quantity, etc. before processing orders. Enter or scan expiration date and lot numbers.
Ensure labels on prescriptions are correct.
Prepare packages, sort, and manifest prescription orders if needed.
Stock and rotate merchandise and supplies to limit shrinkage if needed.
Assist Inventory Technicians as requested. Participate in Inventory Audits as needed.
Other duties as assigned concurrent with all applicable laws and regulations.

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience
Required:
Pharmacy Technician License in Arizona
Ability to preserve confidentiality of patient information.
Preferred:
A national Pharmacy Technician Certification.
Technical Experience:
Central Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician experience.
Prefers to work in a closed-door environment (no adjudication, customer interaction, phone work.)
Good computer skills.
Good math skills.
Physical Requirements
Willing and able to stand/walk at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
Willing and able to perform tasks which include pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, rotating, reaching, and lifting/carrying up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Visual focus such as counting, observing, etc. is required consistently.
