Part time Courier- Environmental Lab

OEC is seeking a part-time courier to join our team! We are a full-service environmental laboratory and we pick up samples all over the central coast and in the valley. 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be able to read, speak and write in English


• Must be able to lift 50lbs


• Must be able to pass random drug tests (ongoing)


• Must have a current California drivers license


• Must have a clean driving record (a current driver history print-out from the DMV will be required upon hiring)
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Courier experience
  


• Basic computer skills
  

Responsibilities: 

• Use a company vehicle to pick up samples from various locations on the Central Coast and in the valley


• Keep flawless records of sample receipts and drop offs using a Chain of Custody form


• Learn which analyses require immediate attention and communicate ahead with the lab from the field to warn about impending samples


• Monitor and maintain the company vehicles


• Provide excellent customer service to our clients in the field


• Shift will be Monday-Friday about 4-6 hours each day during normal business hours with the possibility of overtime.
