Part-Time Driver

SUMMARY

Responsible for safely operating a company minibus to transport employees, guests, and other authorized passengers to and from scheduled entertainment events and other approved destinations. This part-time role requires safe driving practices, dependable attendance, courteous passenger service, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules as assigned.

• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local and regional roadways.


• Strong commitment to passenger safety and responsible vehicle operation.


• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow event schedules and transportation instructions.


• Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.


• Ability to remain professional and calm when addressing passenger needs or changes in schedule.


• Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when events are scheduled.


• Ability to use navigation tools and communicate by phone or other assigned company systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Safely operate the company minibus to transport authorized passengers to and from entertainment events and other approved locations.


• Follow assigned routes, itineraries, pick-up times, and drop-off schedules while adjusting safely for traffic, weather, and road conditions.


• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report damage, mechanical concerns, safety issues, or required maintenance.


• Confirm the minibus is clean, fueled or charged as applicable, and ready for each scheduled trip.


• Assist passengers with safe boarding and exiting and provide reasonable assistance with event-related items when needed.


• Ensure passengers follow applicable safety requirements and company vehicle rules, including seat belt use when provided and required.


• Communicate delays, route changes, incidents, or passenger concerns promptly to the designated Corporate contact.


• Follow all traffic laws, parking requirements, safety regulations, company policies, and accident or incident reporting procedures.


• Secure the vehicle and keys when unattended and protect company property and passenger belongings.


• Maintains a professional appearance and conduct.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Previous experience operating a passenger vehicle, shuttle, van, or minibus is preferred.
