Part-Time Faculty Anthropology Instructor

The Montgomery College, Rockville Campus, is currently accepting applications for possible openings as a part-time faculty member teaching Human Evolution and Archeology.  We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who exhibits a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to our students, and demonstrates the ability to motivate and educate in an engaging manner.  

  
***Montgomery College accepts applications for Adjunct/Part-time Faculty on a continuous basis. Applications may be reviewed periodically based on the student enrollment needs. ***

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Availability and willingness to work in person on the Germantown campus Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 pm to 1: 45 pm, and Thursday from 2:00 pm – 4:40 pm.
• Teach ANTH215 & 216 (Human Evolution and Archeology Lecture & Lab) on the Germantown campus.​In future semesters, other sociology courses may be taught at other campuses during day, evening, or weekend hours.
• Administer signature assignments given by all faculty and utilize other required course materials, including zero-cost materials when possible.
• Hold all classes as scheduled and respond promptly to student communication.
• Evaluate, grade, and return all student assignments and assessments in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all College policies as outlined in the faculty handbook, SEIU contract, policies and procedures, dean and chair memoranda, and other relevant documents.
