Position Summary

St. Aloysius Parish is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Maintenance Person to assist with the care, maintenance, and upkeep of parish facilities, including the church and rectory. This position helps ensure that parish buildings and grounds remain safe, clean, and welcoming for parishioners, visitors, and staff.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.


• Assist with the upkeep and cleanliness of parish buildings and grounds.


• Monitor facilities and report maintenance concerns.


• Support parish events with setup and teardown as needed.


• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment throughout parish property.

Qualifications

• General maintenance, custodial, or facilities experience preferred.


• Ability to perform basic repair and maintenance tasks.


• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.


• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies.


• Commitment to supporting the mission and values of the parish.


• Must be able to complete PGC and pass a BCI (and) FBI background check

Schedule

• Part-time hours; schedule to be determined.
