Part Time Nanny – Falls Church, VA

A family in Falls Church, VA 22042 is seeking an experienced and compassionate nanny who has experience in child-led care for a 1 year old. The right candidate must be genuinely comfortable following Mom’s lead rather than applying conventional nanny methods.

Schedule:

• 5 days per week (Monday-Friday) from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM


• 15-20 hours per week guaranteed

Family Specifications:

• Smoke-free home


• 1 large 90lb dog


• Parents value open communication and building a long-term relationship with the right caregiver


• Child-Led & Low-Stimulation activities with child independence


• Child is breast-fed 

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive child-led care  


• Support developmental activities appropriate for the child’s age and needs but allow for child independence


• Light housekeeping (laundry, bottles/dishes, tidying play areas, light organization)


• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment


• Help with quick errands such as grocery shopping

Requirements:

• Experience caring for infants/toddlers


• Experience with child-led care


• Comfortable working in a home with a large dog


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

• CPR and First Aid certified

Compensation:

• $25–$28 per hour (commensurate with experience)
