Part Time Nanny – Seattle, WA 

A family in Seattle, WA 98177 is seeking high-energy, engaging part-time nanny to care for their active 2-year-old child. This family has a vaccination policy, which will be discussed directly with the candidate. 

Schedule:

• 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM


• 24 hours per week guaranteed

• Located on a beautiful 3-acre property with a pond, ideal for a caregiver who loves outdoor activities and nature.


• Vegetarian household; family provides delicious meals and snacks while on duty (tacos, quesadillas, Indian parathas, pasta, etc.) and asks that the caregiver eat vegetarian while working.


• Parents value open communication and building a long-term relationship with the right caregiver

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily routines, including nap time support and potty training assistance.


• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor play, reading, music, and Montessori-inspired play.


• Transport child to local activities, soccer practice, community co-op, and other enrichment lessons (using either the family vehicle or personal vehicle).


• Prepare and serve nutritious vegetarian meals and snacks for the child.


• Handle child-related light housekeeping, including child's laundry, tidying play areas, and loading/unloading the dishwasher.

Requirements:

• Experience working with toddlers


• CPR and First Aid certified.


• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and comfort driving the child to local activities.


• Comfortable working around open water/outdoors (property includes a pond).

Preferred:

• Willingness to occasionally travel domestically with the family for work trips.


• Bilingual


• Experience with Montessori-inspired play and learning.

Compensation:

• $30-$32 per hour (commensurate with experience)
