Help Patients Regain Independence Where They Matter Most - At Home
At Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Johnson County, we believe healing happens best in the comfort and familiarity of home. For generations, VNA has been a trusted nonprofit provider of compassionate, high-quality healthcare services throughout our community. Our mission-centered approach keeps the focus where it belongs: caring for patients and supporting the dedicated professionals who serve them.
We foster a collaborative and supportive work environment where healthcare professionals are empowered to practice with excellence, compassion, and purpose while making a meaningful difference every day.
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) (20 hours per week) to join our Home Health team. In this rewarding role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services that help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, and independence in their own homes.
As a PTA, you'll play a vital role in helping patients regain strength, confidence, and function while supporting their ability to remain safely at home. You'll provide hands-on therapy interventions, implement individualized treatment plans, and educate patients and caregivers to support recovery and maximize independence. Through one-on-one care and close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, you'll build meaningful relationships, celebrate patient progress, and make a lasting impact on quality of life.
If you're passionate about helping people achieve their goals, value autonomy in your practice, and want to be part of a mission-driven organization committed to exceptional patient care, we'd love to meet you.
