Coordinates activities in various computer labs to ensure that students have access to and assistance in the use of computer technology. Assumes full responsibility for the operation, safety and security of the computer labs during morning, evening and weekend hours. Hires, trains and supervises student help, work-study and casual employees that support the computer labs. Performs basic troubleshooting and repairs and maintains an inventory of supplies and equipment.Typical Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of:
Computer equipment and related software; effective coordination and supervisory techniques.
Ability to:
Train and lead others; Communicate in a group/classroom setting; Provide assistance and problem solve a variety of basic computer related issues; enforce policies and procedures and maintain a positive customer service environment; Recruit, work with and supervise a culturally, racially and gender diverse work group.

The initial salary placement typically is between the minimum $25.14/ hourly to the range midpoint $26.67/hourly. Placement will generally not exceed the mid-point, based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), you may view Portland Community College’s (PCC) most recent Annual Security Report (ASR) on the Department of Public Safety website. The ASR contains current security and safety-related policy disclosure statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information and resources, and drug and alcohol prevention programming. The ASR also contains crime statistics for Clery Act crimes which occurred on PCC properties for the last three calendar years. Paper copies of the ASR are available upon request at all Department of Public Safety offices.
