Performing Arts Instructor

Description

Are you passionate about the performing arts? Do you enjoy working with school-age children (3.5 - 11 years old?) Will you enjoy teaching an afternoon of fun-filled lessons to children of all abilities? If you answered yes to all 3, this could be an ideal part-time job for you. Our afterschool season runs 10 months from September to June and follows the NYC public school calendar. Hours are Monday - Friday from 2:45 PM - 6:00 PM. You must be available to work at least 2 afternoons per week and be willing to commit to work for the entire school year.

Requirements

Candidates should...

• have one or more talents in the performing arts. All talents will be considered.
• have previous job experience working with school-age children (3.5 - 11 yrs. old,) ideally in an after-school or summer camp setting
