Political Science Research Assistant (part-time temporary)

Dr. Quinn Mecham in the Political Science Department is looking for two part-time research assistants to help with research and survey analysis. These positions are temporary and will end by August 2026. Compensation is fixed at $16.00/hour.

What you'll do in this position:

• Contribute to current research projects using survey research and/or analysis tools focused on certain political areas
• Work with faculty supervisor to mentor and train current student employees to continue the research

What qualifies you for this position:

Required:

• A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
• Some college experience
• Familiarity with current research projects

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience working directly with Dr. Quinn Mecham
