Primary Therapist/ Part-Time/ Monday - Friday

Position Summary
Westwind Recovery is seeking a Part-Time Primary Therapist to provide clinical services in an outpatient behavioral health setting. This role is responsible for maintaining a caseload of approximately 8–10 clients, facilitating 3–5 groups per week, completing assessments and treatment plans, providing individual and group therapy, supporting crisis intervention, coordinating care, and maintaining timely clinical documentation. The Primary Therapist will work closely with the Clinical Director and treatment team to support client care, treatment progress, discharge planning, and clinical compliance. Candidates must have a master's degree in a licensable clinical field and be licensed or registered in the State of California.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain a part-time caseload of approximately 8–10 clients.


• Facilitate approximately 3–5 groups per week.


• Provide individual therapy and group counseling services.


• Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, risk assessments, discharge summaries, and other required clinical documentation.


• Support client progress throughout treatment, including crisis intervention, discharge planning, and continuing care recommendations.


• Coordinate care with the clinical team, case management, families, referents, and outside providers as appropriate.


• Participate in supervision, clinical staff meetings, trainings, and treatment planning discussions as required.


• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state, Joint Commission, and internal requirements.


• Communicate professionally and ethically with clients, families, staff, and outside agencies.


• Support utilization review and other clinical needs as assigned.
